Tonight, with increased moisture from the Marine air mass offshore expect areas of fog to develop and push inland along the Downeast coast. However, given moisture trapped under the inversion and steep low-level lapse rates cannot rule out some low-topped isolated showers/sprinkles. Modeled soundings show a deep 700-600mb cap in place which will prevent vertical development. There is a very isolated chance of a shower today across mainly the northern 1/2 of the CWA. Expect highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s at the Downeast shoreline. Given the southerly wind direction there will be a sea breeze along the coast.
